About Me

From IDF case triage under daily SLAs to SIEM alert investigation.

I am a graduate of the Cyber Security Implementer Program at ITQ College (650 hours, Cisco and Fortinet specialization), covering enterprise network infrastructure, Microsoft servers, firewalls and SIEM/SOC operations. I work both sides: at ITQ I trained on SIEM/SOC tooling (IBM QRadar SIEM, Splunk SOAR), and in my own Active Directory lab I practise attack paths such as Kerberoasting and BloodHound recon to see how adversaries operate.

Before that, I served for 3 years as a Service Coordinator in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Working under strict SLAs in SAP ERP and CRM ticketing systems, I investigated hundreds of sensitive soldier entitlement cases while keeping the data confidential.

Day to day that means enterprise infrastructure (Cisco IOS XE, FortiGate NGFW, Windows Server 2022 AD, LPI Linux Essentials), SIEM alert investigation (IBM QRadar SIEM with WinCollect, Splunk SOAR) and, in my own lab, Active Directory attack practice.

  • Formal training

Cyber Security Implementer Program, ITQ (650 Hours), Cisco and Fortinet specialization: Cisco IOS XE, FortiGate NGFW (simulated two-site Israel-USA network), Windows Server 2022 AD, LPI Linux Essentials, IBM QRadar SIEM with WinCollect, Splunk SOAR.

  • Operational experience

IDF Service Coordinator (3 Years): SAP ERP & CRM workflows, high-urgency SLA triage, structured escalation.

  • Completed modules

30 completed HTB Academy modules and Python automation for log enrichment.

Open source tool Live: 4,000+ visitors

ZeroBox (ctftracker.com)

CTF tracker and penetration testing workspace.

  • Problem

Progress across 1,000+ HTB and TryHackMe machines was scattered, there was no realistic timed exam practice, and ports, reverse shells and evidence notes were copied around by hand during recon.

  • What I built

An offline-first workspace in React and TypeScript, shipped as a web app and a Tauri desktop app: a 1,000+ machine catalog, 131 reverse shell templates, an 8-phase methodology, a multi-host Nmap XML importer with one-click attack graphs, a masked credential and hash vault, a CVSS v3.1 Markdown report generator, and a timed exam simulator (OSCP, CRTO, OSEP, CRTP and more) with ZIP submission export.

  • Result

4,000+ visitors at ctftracker.com, open source on GitHub (0xdnd/ctf-tracker). Runs fully offline with no accounts and no cloud telemetry; data stays in the browser (IndexedDB / LocalStorage).

Active Directory Homelab

Build it, then attack it.

  • Problem

Active Directory attack paths like Kerberoasting are hard to understand from reading alone; I wanted a safe environment of my own to practise them hands-on.

  • What I built

An Active Directory domain with two domain-joined Windows machines, plus a Linux VPN server for remote access to the lab.

  • Result

A working lab where I practise AD attack paths end to end, including Kerberoasting and BloodHound recon.

ITQ College

Completed alongside the final year of IDF service (IDF-funded civilian program).

Hands-on training in Cisco network infrastructure, Microsoft servers, firewalls, and SIEM/SOC operations in an enterprise lab environment:

  • Cisco IOS XE routers & switches: VLANs and 802.1Q trunking, inter-VLAN routing, DHCP, OSPF, RIPv2, HSRP, ACLs, port security, NAT, and GRE and IPsec VPN tunnels.
  • FortiGate NGFW: set up and configured for a simulated two-site enterprise network (Israel and USA): firewall policies, address objects, Virtual IPs (static NAT), antivirus and web filtering profiles, and a site-to-site IPsec VPN.
  • Windows Server 2022 & Linux: Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), NTFS permissions, disk quotas, and DHCP with MAC filtering; studied LPI Linux Essentials and administered Kali and Ubuntu (Netplan, SSH, SCP, tcpdump).
  • IBM Security QRadar SIEM & Splunk SOAR: configured QRadar SIEM with the WinCollect agent, Windows audit policies, and syslog forwarding through the FortiGate, and set up Splunk SOAR.
2022 - 2025 Completed: 3 years

Service Coordinator, Soldier Benefits

Israel Defense Forces (IDF)

Investigated and resolved hundreds of sensitive soldier entitlement cases in SAP, maintaining strict data confidentiality and high accuracy under daily SLAs. Prioritized and tracked complex escalations through CRM and ticketing workflows, writing clear case notes that sped up coordination between soldiers, commanders and external agencies.
